Sunburned Nose
#14
At 60, my nose has been badly burned more times than I care to remember. I try to use the strongest sunblock as much as possible but I usually just hop on the bike and forget that I need the protection. My nose takes longer and longer to heal these days and my doctor says I'm at high risk of developing skin cancer due to my neglect. My recommendation to you younger guys is to take skin protection seriously.

Yeah you really got to watch burning those thin-skinned areas on the face and scalp. Great way to contract the big C. Doesn't matter what you use as long as you cover and protect it. Better to look a little odd than have to get a cancer spot removed, or worse.

i wear these, if i'm on my scoot, it's on period. it also covers the front & rear of the neck, something a bandana doesn't do

I like to start every day's ride with Harley-DavidsonTM 'Road King' SPF 75, and after the ride finish off with Harley-DavidsonTM 'Night Train' cucumber moisturizer.
