I ordered mine with the D-rings. I don't like quick disconnect. Quick disconnect just don't sound right for a helmet.

I've got a flat-black non-DOT and really like it. Had them reshape it for a more egg-shaped noggin and moved the straps back an inch. The quick disconnect works great and is all metal. No cheap plastic. Sorry, no pictures.

I didn't like the quick connect at first, but with some practice it works really well. It's difficult to get attached at first.

I like d rings better. My current 1/2 helmet has quick disconnect and it took a while to get used to, But I am a d ring man all the way...

I just received my DOT version and the jury is still out if I keep it or not and I don't care for the d-rings on it.
