what's wrong with all that?

I guess some people will accept anything if it's in their own, even slight, interest.

Nothing wrong with that. I always liked that quote. Even when I found out Sonny wasn't the first to use it.

whats wrong with all that?
Whats wrong with what?

This? "A thug, a thief and most prob involved in more serious crimes"

Or this? "at least he isn't pretending to be something he's not. THAT in my book deserves respect."

Cause I agree with the latter, but the former? Not so much,,,

Most people on here would agree that a thug or a thief is nothing but a low life if something was stolen from them, but then admire this guy for what he is and being honest about it. You would admire an honest horse thief?

A "sit down" with Sonny? He "made his bones" .... wow the club cliches are flying all over the place. I wouldn't spend a dime on a book written by him, not the type of man that garners respect.

we all know that horse thiefs exist, so if your horse got stolen you're at fault for not protecting it. you failed.

Sonny came from nothing. Poor kid from a broken family on the streets of a rough city. He propelled his club to international level and rose to the top. Appeared in few movies and wrote few books. Made a bunch of cash.... sounds like success story to me. How can you not respect a man who carved out a nice piece of pie?

This bothers you ? You do know a lot of us were in this a long time before it became the white collar trendy thing to do and we're still around get over it . The respect thing doubt you'd get any in his circles then or now . Give the man his due not many individuals in the last 50 years done as much to make an impact on history by creating a standing subculture that is still changing peoples lives . Your riding the mans shirt tails if you've ever referred to yourself as a biker think about it .

so if your horse got stolen you're at fault for not protecting it. you failed.

I mean no disrespect to you personally, but lets use your argument on something else.

You're on the road, 800 miles from home, and some thug rapes and kills a member of your family. Are you at fault for not protecting them? Did you fail? And lets assume you have taken all the necessary precautions; Alarm system, firearm training, and arming them.

As for a "Sit Down?" He would be an interesting person to have a conversation with, yes. So would Charles Manson. And no, I'm not kidding.
