Default Tribute to a fallen rider?

My wife's dad passed away two yr's ago, and I wanted to do something to honor his memory. My question to you is it bad mojo to put a paint scheme on my bike in his memory? He was a old school, ZZ Top looking cool dude.

Thanks for your feed back

i think i would buy an extra set of tins abd have them painted . when its time to sell .you can keep the memorial and get a good buck for the bike

There was a guy that posted pictures of his bike here that had pictures of his dad and grandpa painted on to his tins. Looked good. His way to honor their passing.

Go for it.

Maybe some will remember who it was and post a link.

Great idea, I've done something similar. My step-Dad was killed by a deer on his Electra-Glide in Utah in Aug of '09 while coming home from a road trip to Colorado. I keep a chrome metal cylinder with his ashes mounted on the handlebar. This way he always rides with me where-ever I go. He was my best riding buddy and mentor in motorcycling so it's my tribute to him.

there is a red white and blue electra glide running around out there with fallen soldiers protraits on it. I think the guy who owns it. His Son or Brother was K I A. The bike was done in memory of him.
