Got my Outlaw Carbon Fiber Low Profile helmet last week from LeatherUp and was impressed how it looks and wears. Smallest DOT helmet I've seen and the matte black carbon fiber look is cool. Happy with my purchase.

 

Mine just came in today. Definitely the smallest DOT I've seen. Very light too. I also have the regular outlaw helmet (not the carbon fiber) and there's no comparison. The carbon fiber is way smaller in size and lighter.

 

I love my outlaw low profile, watch the sizing though. I wear a 7 3/8 hat and an XL fit perfect, I usually wear a L helmet. Now the only problem is all my buddies want one. Btw I also got my girlfriend one in red and it looks really good. Good Luck.

 

How does it compare in size to a novelty skid lid? I would consider a DOT if it was close in size, but they're always way bigger.

 

Every time I check Leather-Up they are sold out in the XL....I guess I need to be more diligent checking everyday.

 

LeatherUp has an email option to notify you when they get them in. That's how I purchased mine. After showing it to some friends, they are on the mailing list waiting for the new arrivals. It only took a week till I was notified.

 

Mine was too friggin' small, and my measurement was in the middle of the XL size - had I used the hat size part, I'd have gotten an even smaller one! Great lid, but their sizing chart sux, and it cost ME $13 to send it back. Still awaiting the 2XL.
