Spinning an A or B motor beyond the point where the torque and HP curves cross is just abusing the motor. Plenty of HP and torque can be made with them and still maintain a useful life. Just depends on what u want out of it. I prefer to put many miles of pure pleasure on without having to rebuild every 10-20,000 miles. I figure my bottom end is good for another 100,000 and I can upgrade safely at any time.

.
HD currently puts junk parts, & junk bearings, & crap specs & tolerances in their B bottom end, & tries to keep it from shaking itself to pieces by using a counterbalance WTF ?
as i said, if i ever pull mine apart, ( & it may be soon as my crank runout is at 5 thousandths < which should be rebuilt ) i'll use a forged A crank, timken bearings, & toss the POS counterbalance & have it balanced

Pooch you are sure missing the point on this one. You cannot "balance" an engine using so-called un-crap parts. It isn't the parts that make an engine shake -- it is the basic design. Now go practice yer bass son...
And motors run on electricity.

well, when HD calls a crankset assembly " good " to install in a B motor when it's twelve thousandths out,,, that's seriously fukked up,,, better hope that that counterbalance smoothes that **** out <<<<< NO FUKING WAY it will to a point, maybe up to 3k,, but after that,, that bike's gonna be shaking your molars out
the A motors " engines " get balanced at the factory

here is the reply that Gary from Andrews sent me
I'm sure it would be possible, but would require multiple gears
and axles,
likely new cases and flywheels. May be easier to just remove the
balancers altogether at that point?
Thank you,

if yah dont ask it wont get done you need to let these gear head shops know that your interested in somthing like this in order for them to do it.

sorry, doesn't sound like they were interested in engineering, to me he said remove it.
