Same here. It's worth the $25 to get a tire mounted and balanced by a pro. Not something I'd want to tackle solo without some training on how to do it right.

I just changed my front tire after getting a quote from my local indy of $180.00 for tire and mount and balance. I used a C-clamp to break the bead. I strongly suggest using some rip protectors. (you can buy them on ebay for under $5) I also suggest a wire brush to clean the center of the rim where the spokes are located inside the rim, then slap some grease in there to keep them from rusting more.(spoked rims) Lastly, I did not balance the front, I lined up the dot with the valve and no vibration! good luck
