LED or not

I have a Illuminated LED windshield molding trim on my 07 classic. The right cluster has a intermittent short. took it off and it is sealed in clear silicone. It is not LED bulbs it looks like circuit broad.and when I push on the silicone where there is a slight color change it lights up.Does anyone know how this can be fixs? HD part #57335-08

It could be fixed, depends if you are handy with a soldering iron or not. First, try to isolate the exact point where the problem is, then remove silicone in that area. Then resolder all the connections. Then test. And reseal with an equivalent rtv. If you lived closer, I could help, as I have access to the soldering equipment.
