Give this up! The Harley execs are doing what they were hired to do: keep the company alive and profitable. Whether they make that happen by making money from finance, parts, the sales of all the crap they put their logo on (I just got an email from my local dealer pushing Harley-Davidson crew socks!), or sales of the actual bikes doesn't matter to them or their shareholders.

As to the dealer closings, remember James Carville: It's the economy, stupid!
