I replaced the OEM Dunlops after almost 20K with Metzlers. Hate em! Noisy, slippery, and I am constantly leaking air out of them. I don't know if thats a problem with the tires, but I never had to deal with that with the Dunlops.

My dunlops have 4000 miles on them and I don't think they'll make it another three

I have heard varying reports about tire mileage and how crappy Dunlops are, but my brother and I both got almost 20K on our OEM Dunlops. Both on brand new 06's. Was that just a 'good year' (pun intended) for the tires?

13,500 on my '06.....bought it with 10,400 last November, still original Dunny sneakers on it...and looking like at least a couple-o-more thou worth left.

I don't know how the prior owner rode her, he was a smaller guy, and I don't think his wife hopped on the back much. I ride fairly hard, high speeds on the highway, and ride 2-up a lot.

i have about 1,500 miles on my back metz, and right at 1000 on my front, my front looks brand new, and my rear looks half or more worn out, they are amazing tires dont get me wrong, but the damn things wear out WAY too fast on these missouri roads. and i check my tire pressure weekly, and keep them to spec from the site that was listed earlier

I got 8K with my Dunnies maybe could of pushed another 1K. replaced with Avon's, which are great in dry weather but if the ground is wet they SUCK! So living in Oregon I think my next set will be Metz.

I switched to Metzler's over 6 years ago and won't go back to Dunlop. I get about 10-12k out of the rear and 15K + out of a front tire. My bike handles much better and the tires are sticky in tight turns. I have almost 90k on by bike.
