Forced myself to park it

Forced myself to park it
I hope I am not the only one this has ever happened to. I went off to work the other day, 30 mile commute each way. Morning ride was awesome!
Leave work, hop on the scoot for the ride home, anticipating an even better ride than the morning, and seem I was a little out of sorts or something. I felt like the bike was heavy, and I was off balance. Stops were not smooth and flowing like usual, just felt a bit off or something.
Was planning on riding that evening as well, but got home, parked it and reflected on the off centered feel of the ride.
Next morning....Great ride again...been great ever since!!

Me too... I have had days when I have walked away because I have been riding like a fool... poor brake control, bad cornering... just not gelling... and as cricket says above better safe than sorry...

Everyday I ride is a different day. Some days I don't feel on my game. I just ride with more caution then and work on my skills. I figure it is either being tired, stressed, inattentive, or middle ear imbalance.

Okay, so I'm not the only one then. This happen to me 2 weeks ago and it freaked me out. I just couldn't get the feeling of my bike, it was like I was riding it for the first time. Weird!!

We have a lot of new riders showing up everyday around here. Between the gas prices and year around weather plus the middle age crazies who have disposable incomes. I see lots of foot dragging, red light wobbles, and duck walking. I ride with a group that like myself grew up riding. We poke fun at each other over doing stupid **** and riding mistakes. I hate it when I am having an off day and pull up to stop at a red light and wobble. Sometimes leaving the red light on an off day I don't compensate enough for HD torque and let the bike pull itself a little out of line. It will get me teased if someone in my club or a friend notices. That is usually when I notice that this is an off day.

Wow, this is really wierd. I had this off feeling yesterday, second time I remember it happening. Nothing I did felt right. I thought about asking the same question but just never got around to it last night. Come on here today and this post comes up. Glad to know I'm not just losing my mind.
