Get this... My daughter and I (I'm 38) have been mistaken as a couple MORE THAN ONCE! One time at the store and another time at a restaurant. Yes, I was mortified, but you should've seen the look on her face... HA HA HA!
My daughter's too young for that mistake to happen, not that it ever will. But the cashier at Wally World sure got embarassed the other day when I (with a smile) pointed out here mistake when she asked my daughter something about her grandpa and was referring to me. Of course my daughter thought it was hillarious and told EVERYONE we know at ever oppotunity she got.

When my oldest was 13 she brought her first "boy friend" home to meet us. I was "cleaning some of my guns when they got there.
I figure when I meet the first one I'll just twitch alot and make a few odd noises. When he looks at me kinda funny I'll explain my PTSD to him.

I took my daughter on her first ride last week. The offer has always been there, but she's the cautious type. She's 20, and has the same boyfriend since she was 17. It never gets easier. If they so much as hold hands I usually leave the room.

Right there with you keeferfish...mine turns 14 next month and she's on the HS dance and cheerleader team(s). The other night while showing off the $700 worth of cheer/dance apparel I invested into these sports I realized dad needs to keep a close eye out in the stands for "horndoggler" boys wanting to pounce on my little angel. It's going to be a long year...

Never had the problem of my kids riding behind, but know the feeling of daughters growing up. Trust them to be who you taught them to be. Now, my grandaughter, (15) is different. Time to lock her up.

Does membership in this club come with a free beer on friday nights?

I was introduced to my 13-year-old daughter's goofy boyfriend the other day, and he looked like he was going to puke when I shook his hand. At least that put half a grin on my face for the rest of the day.

I don't have kids, but I'm sure that situation would make me uncomfotable too. Well good luck with all the boys.
