A brief helmet review.

A brief helmet review.
I know that some here do not like helmets. That is understandable as there are some on here who don't have much to protect, I won't go into detail but most of them seem to post in the political section Personally I am very fond of my head and don't see anything wrong with wearing a helmet, I would do it even if helmet laws were abandoned tomorrow.
I ordered a Fulmer B9 Ishade helmet a couple of weeks ago and have ridden about 300 miles with it so far. It is not a full face but it has a clear shield that flips up and an Ishade that is activated by a slide on the top of the helmet. So far I have been very pleased with it and I see it as money well spent. It is very comfortable and completely cut the wind noise that was wrecking my hearing.
Coming back from Lumberton this evening the shield deflected a good sized rock on I95 that would have split my lip had I been wearing my previous helmet. It also features a removable washable liner, that is a real plus in the South, it can get a little hot down here y"all.
