Wow ! The cat is finally out of the bag! EFI Twinkies and their warm up times are no better than my old S&S Carbed Evo.
Start it up, have a smoke, put on the jacket and then hop on and ride. No leaks, no stumbles, just a few minutes of idle and it's good to go.

Mine is carbed. Start it up and ride it gently with no warm up period. Once I'm under way, choke half way in. After about a mile, choke all the way in.

I get the gear on, jump on the bike, start it up and peg the tach until I feel the reved out motor hold me back. Than I shift gears. No warm up. I'm trying to blow this stock thing up so i can have an excuse to go 120. Wife don't know any better. lol.. [8D]

I usually start put on hemet and gloves then back out of garage. I still find at 7,000 mi. on 06 fxdi that engine feels tight for a couple, three miles and forget the primary. I think my primary wants to go live in key west.

It is usually really cold in Michigan this time of year, so I let it idle until it steps down to the next idle speed, but not quite to the 850 RPM I have it set to in the ECU at full warm up.

While it's doing this I can get my lunch into the saddle bags and put on the layers needed for the cold.

I start the bike and let it run while I get my helmet and gloves on, then back down the drive and turn around, usually the heads are getting warm by then.
That is about right, good to let the oil warm up and get circulating really well.

I live in a senior gated comm. and go to work at 5:15 in the am never really seen any need for warm up as
long as you keep the rev's down

A slow warm-up while the bike is moving is said to be the best form of warm-up. Some claim that it takes 10 miles for the bike to reach normal operating temp. It is advised to not open the throttle all the way until a warm-up is complete.

Good advice, and besides, Idling in the drive is petrol down the drain. It doesn't hurt to ride the bike during warm up, and air cooled moto's can take 10-15 minutes to reach operating temperature. Just take it easy and stay out of the throttle (drive with the cagers).
