I was in the northeast a few weeks ago and i went to an old old cemetary some graves dating back pre revolutionary war.I was surprised to see so many graves with straight up skulls and skellytons on them....it was kinda cool(as cool as a grave could be) and kinda weird too.It came from the puritans i beleive and it had to do with the way they saw life and death...we are all simple and we are all going to die etc...somthing like thaht......another religious faction views won out with everyone as they used symbols like flowers and doves and stuff....forget why.It was really cool and caught me by surprise.A very interesting place.

Personally I don't care for skulls, reminds me of death and other negative things. I saw a shirt at the dealer the other day, was actually going to pay the high price, but the skull on the back killed the deal.

Skulls might not mean jack to you.....but a whole lot to the next guy. As for me, BAD JUJU. I found a body one time five days after the drunk driver walked away from a single car crash he was involved in. He was laying shirtless. He had numerous tat's with skulls...and satanic crap all over his back and arms. He was bloated, and maggot infested, and didn't smell all that good. Made me wonder if he'd a thought all that devil worship **** still looked good on him???

i stay away from harley parts that have flames or skulls... to me, if thats what i want on my bike then it should be custom. sure, the factory flame paint on the WG looks great, but if I wanna a flame paint job on my tank i dont want it to be that same flame the guy next to me at the red light has. i buy parts because they are chrome or black, not because it has a flame, skull, tribal design, etc. if it has a design like that i stay away from it.

bottom line, if you like skulls, cover you bike in em... if you don't like skulls, dont do it because you think its the trend.

there are a lot of people that wished they never got the barbed wire tattoo!
