Default ABS on the Dyna's???

Hey. am looking to buy a new HD soon but want ABS. I love the FXDC but am considering a Heritage because of the ABS option. Anybody hear anything if Harley is expanding ABS to Dyna's for the 2012's? Seems like they could if others (BMW) can put it on all their models. Can still be an option if someone doesn't want it. Just curious. Will find out at the end of July i guess. Just don't want to wait if it is not going to be an option.

Thanks!

My uneducated guess is that they will not put ABS on Dyna line.

The Dynas aren't as heavy though, and while their brakes aren't the greatest, they are adaquate I guess. Use steady even pressure on the lever and pedal, and don't pull 'em in all at once and you should be fine. I've yet to lock up either wheel on my Wide Glide, but I've only got about 1700 miles on it so far.

Guessing that in 2012 they wont be, but willing to bet they will in the future.

yes ABS on all dynas 2012 as an option. Some will have it ..some won't. You should tell dealer the model u want with ABS now so they can order it.

My dealer said that ABS will be available on Dyna's next year, and Sportsters, someday. I have yet to wsee anything official to back this up though.

I am trying to decide between the Wide Glide with ABS or the Blackline myself. The impression I have been given is that in 2012 I should be able to have ABS on either. With a big wink and a nod. Also in waiting mode....

Yea, agree on the waiting. Really want my next bike to have ABS and really like the Dyna's. Am 52 but not really in to the baggers yet. Most of my riding is backroads/mountain roads etc one up and not in to touring. Rides are usually a few hours or less. Just like the look, feel, and motor on the Dyna FXDC. But the blackline is certainly cool.
