What the "f*ck is wrong with you? Listen to your Doc. I had my,prostate, right kidney and bladder removed in August of 2009 and was riding in October 2009. May or not be be of any significance, but on June 30th I'll have my thyroid, a good portion of my collar bone and some ribs removed. I may never ride again. For what it's worth!

Are you nutz?????? You asking us, a bunch of real nuts on what to do? Listen to your doc real close. I know it's tough not to ride while healing but in the long run, your beter erroring in the side of caution. Take your time.

OK Guys,
Thanks for the kick in the *** I do need to be strightend out once in a while. I never have liked to be told what to do, especialy when I feel great.
I'll just keep polishing my bike and try not to spend to much money on the extras.
...Thanks again...

It will be two years in September for me. I am guessing you had the surgery done with the Da Vinci Robot. That makes a huge difference. Fortunately for me, by the time my doctor and my body said I could ride, the weather wasn't the best so I cooled my heels until the next year. Bought a fugly Sundowner Seat and it makes a huge difference. As others have said, listen to your doctor and your body and don't push it too soon. I thought everything was great until I tried to lift something I shouldn't have. Let me offer you one more bit of advice that comes from experience. The rehab exercises that you are doing now, keep doing them to keep everything strong. I thought I could relax doing them but soon learned that was not the case. Keep working hard and everything will be fine. Fortunately "everything" is working for me now. My insurance didn't cover the cost of the "the little blue pill" and they are E'fn expensive without insurance! Wishing you many years of riding, in the bed and on the road!
