I have had Harleys for years and had motor work done to a 99 Fatboy I had and I had the wrong person do the work and had a lot of problems. So the last few bikes I have had I decided not to touch the motor until now. I did my homework to decide who should do the work and decided on a company in Upper Sandusky Ohio called Hot Shot Motor works because they have been in business a long time. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! My bike has been down for months now. Hot shot motorworks BEWARE!!! Do not use them! I had them build my 88 inch to a 95 inch. All kinds of problems. First they told me 2 weeks to complete, it was ov er 2 months before I got it back. Then it had a horrible tapping noise which ended up being piston slap from improper machine work, and I had an exhaust valve sticking and they installed my oil pump out of align. Ended up costing me two times more than it should have and he would not help me out at all. Owner was a jerk about it, blaming other people. This started in the winter of 2010 and still is not straightened out!
