It happens a lot. Some ask. So don't. But I've got to meet a lot of interesting people.

I use a 9mm now, it allows me to shoot them multiple times before they go down, it's a great stress reliever.

I was sitting in a mall parking lot one day while waiting on my buddy with my trailer after breaking the final drive belt leaving the movies across the street and was leaning back on my bike with my feet over the handle bars and head against the passenger back rest when somebody in a SUV pulls up and has a camera phone and starts to take a picture. Well they got the ole #1 salute for their troubles...lol

When we were leaving the Harley Factory Tour in York a lot of people took pictures of us. There were eight harleys leaving.

I do photography as a hobby and do that kind of stuff all the time... however I hope you realize that from the time you walk out of your house every day you are on camera anywhere from 300-500 times before you get home... it's not people like me you have to worry about it's the ones you can't see taking your picture.

The irony is that you just proved that we can take pictures of 1%ers without repercussions.

As someone else already said, the real badasses are out in the dessert getting shot at to protect our rights. It is a free country, and I'll take a picture of whoever I want; you have no expectation of privacy when you are in public.

I think everyone missed the point here. I know a dumb tourist who doesn't know any better from a cop. It's just plain ignorant to just pull out your camera and take pictures of strangers without asking. As for it being a free country and taking pictures of whoever and whatever you want, just in case anyone has that delusion, whip out your camera and start taking snapshots of a federal building and see what happens. Oh another thing, for those who haven't kept up with the times. A large number of those badasses that were over there now ride with clubs.

I have a few questions.

- Where is the official list of "1%er" outlaw clubs?
- What club are you in?
- Where has said group posted their official Code of Conduct towards said group of "Outlaws?"
- If you are riding towards someone, how are they to tell you are a 1%er group instead of Wild Hogs? A police escort?

You can't have it both ways: if you are an outlaw, accept that you will be treated as such - for good or bad.

Exactly: and they know how to deal with photographers!

No one said you can take pictures whenever and wherever you want, just as you can't go into a movie theater and yell "Fire" even though we have freedom of speech. You usually can't take pictures on private property without permission, either. You can't take pictures of some federal or military installations for obvious reasons.

You generally can take pictures "Absent a specific legal prohibition such as a statute or ordinance, you are legally entitled to take photographs in [public places]. Examples of places that are traditionally considered public are streets, sidewalks, and public parks."

Perhaps if I flashed some boob, I'd get more offers!
can i go ahead and get permission now; that way, if i ever see you, i'll just snap away, boobies or not.
