Default Rain x

Does anyone use RAIN X on their helmet visors & windshield? Got caught in the rain yesterday, and I am thinking about using it on my helmet & windshield.

I use S100 on my shields, never trusted RainX for some reason
Wax helps remove bugs after a couple of applications

rain-x is not for use on plastics. read the label. i think a few years back there was a rain-x that was safe, but i haven't seen it in years.

it may not happen right away, but it will cause your shield to yellow and get brittle.

Rain-x will destroy plastic...for use on glass only.

As stated above, Rain-X will destroy plastic. A better solution is Novus or Plexus, which can be used on windshields and helmet visors.

I put rain-x on my shield and windshield last week. It did not hurt either one.

From my understanding it does not melt on contact like the wicked witch of the west... it takes some time to work in its damage. Let us know in a couple months.
