I risked my life gettin to this puter... 20 miles from the last one with a construction zone and a fuel stop in between...

Yes _ in law was filling up a gas powered log splitter and spilled gas on hot exhaust pipe and instant fire. Almost burnt down garage.

Who cares?

99.99% of people get off their bike. If you don't get off your bike, there is a 99.99% chance the attendant won't even notice.

Good info ,as in a free country do as you choose. I will probly start dimounting to fuel more often.

I always get off the bike but only because I carry my wallet in the front pocket because of hip problems and can't get it out without standing up. Need to get the keys out also to open the fuel lid.

Then I need to go and empty my tank. I just have all kinds of reasons to get off while fueling not a one for staying on the bike.

I still don't like Shell's policy.
