Flat on my Rocker C and stranded on the Interstate.

Things like this happening is exactly why I could not have a motorcycle without some utilitarian value (at least what constitutes such IMO).
I had this happen about a month ago to me. I plugged the tire with my tire plug kit, pumped it back up to a safe level and was back on the road in 15 minutes.
I need space for tools and miscellany. I do not want a bike where I feel I am at someone else's mercy for the most minor of inconveniences.
Glad everything worked out okay for you.

That's not enough space to carry a change of underwear much less what I carry on a daily basis. I'm not knocking anyones choices. We all ride for different reasons and have different priorities.
I commute daily - and when I ride for fun go hundreds of miles at a time so I am more comfortable carrying a good bit of stuff.
Such as:
Extra gloves
Jacket liner (if it is not already in the jacket).
Rain Gear
Tools and more tools (no simple factory tool kit for me)
Patch Kit and small tire pump
Towel
Dress Shoes for work or walking shoes if I am on a day trip
I almost always have a folding chair strapped on the back (I love finding a nice quiet spot for lunch - and most work days I go to the park near my office).
Extra Bungee Cords
Small jumper cables
So my idea of storage space may be a LITTLE different

I didn't have to pay for the tow. I'm a State Trooper and they did it as a favor. You are correct though, I did have to sit in the sun and wait for the tow. Not being able to haul much stuff comes with the bike I guess. I wouldn't change to another bike right now. The Rocker C is constantly getting compliments and having people look at it. I'm sure I'll get bored eventually though and move on, but for right now, I love it, flat tire and all!

Now that might be considered a bribe. but of course you are a state trooper and would NEVER do anything illegal would you. I am sure you refused that bribe and paid for your own tow.

Accepting something for free is called a gratuity, not a bribe. At least learn the difference if you are going to throw around insults.
