Default Lindby crashbar...

with a lot of rust. I thought mine was bad. Not even close to how bad this one looked. Oh well, don't bet on this chrome lasting too long, granted I live near the ocean...

I'm sure glad to see these now than to have experienced it six months after I spent $350 on that bar!

I have been running my lindbys for 3 years with no rust. But if you look closely you can see the rust on the brake pedal acorn nut also. Good thing you didn't waste your money on that cheap acorn nut too! Anything will rust if you don't maintain it!!

I've had mine for close to 4 years and mine still looks brand new (that is, when I scrape the bugs off of it). Close to the salt will sure do that, but I wonder if they haven't thinned the chrome down on the later models?

Well, I have to give you that - I didn't notice the acorn nut at first glance. What about others that have the Lindby's bar - how are yours holding up?
