New Fatboy breaks on first ride!
I bought a new 2011 Fatboy that broke on the first ride (12 km). The oil light came on and a lifter collapsed. I am debating how I should approach this with the dealer. It feels like I am now buying a used bike at new bike price. What would you do?

You should be given another NEW Fatboy and the dealer should get something from MoCo.... they have responsibility

I'd call MOCO and explain your feelings as you've done here.

New is all I'd settle for and I wouldn't ***** foot around dickering put in on the table in plain english from the gate .

You might want to buy a few extra twin cam engines if you plan on riding all Summer.
