I think I would be talking with the dealer first and the MoCo second.

If your story is true, have you even talked to your dealer yet? Or did you first come here to see if we could fix it for you? How did you even know about this site? You make yourself sound like a troll telling a story such as you did.

You bought it, its YOUR bike. The dealer will fix YOUR bike. You dont get a new bike. It became a used bike as soon as you drove it over the curb on the way out of the dealers lot.

As stated, it's your bike. Call the dealer and give him the opportunity to make it right.

Yup, its your scoot now. The dealer will not give you another one. They will fix it at no charge. If you're unhappy with the scoot, sell it (be prepared for a big loss) and buy a new one

A collapsed lifter can easily be replaced, if that is really the issue. Have the dealer fix the problem, as the bike is under warranty.

Yep, he has a warranty so they will fix the bike, he should take it in and get it fixed. What possesses some people to think that when a vehicle breaks during the warranty period entitles them to more than what the warranty spells out is beyond belief.

This sounds like a pretty stupid question to me.
