Met a cool biker with his dog riding on the tank
I just got back from a vacation in the LA area (Northride to be exact) and while cruisin around in a convertible Camaro we rented, we pulled up along side of a guy with his white German Shepard laying on the tank, we're talking about a full size dog, well we started talking and light turns green but he still had more to say so we pulled over and we sat there and talked for about a half hour, the guy's name is Jeremiah Gerbracht and his dogs name is sir Davidson, if you see these two stop and say hello, I got a lot of usefull cruisin around info from Jeremiah.

I remember in ths 70's desert racing in So. Calif. there was a guy with a dog desert racing with the dog on the tank. He was called "Kookie the Wonder dog". The guy glued a piece of carpet to his tank for the dog to get some traction. That dog would hang on better than any bitch on the back seat ever could.

I love my dogs and would never try to take them on the bike, plus I love my bikes and the dogs know to stay away from them. It's always cool to met someone like that.

some clarification
If you Google his name Jeremiah Gerbracht & Sir Davidson, you'll see him in many publications about court battles he has had through the years, this actually his third dog that will ride with him. He does have a large carpet pad that the dog lays on, this guy cruises real slow though, in Cali (north-west L.A. area) theres so much traffic you're not going to drive anywhere fast, I'm not taking his side on this, just thought it was neat, I asked some of the same questions as far as the dogs safety but he's OK with it and the dog seems OK with it so, lets let him be.
