Think you put on a lot of miles this month? Check out these guys ...
http://www.rideformiracles.com/ for the blog, videos, and photos.
From my hometown... Scott Ressmeyer and 13 other guys left Columbus GA on May 6 and will be back in town this Friday night. In 21 days, they will have hit all 48 lower states, all in the name of the Children's Miracle network.
Pretty cool stuff, with lots of local news coverage, daily Skype calls to the morning news show. Friday afternoon, local and state LEOs will escort them on the last leg into town - I'm told that last year they did the final 102 miles in just a hair over an hour!
I'm not affiliated with the group, but I did kick in some $$$ to support their cause. I just think it's cool.

Way cool! What a ride this must have been! Watching one of the videos I would swear they stopped at St Vincent/Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, In. They have a huge Miracle Ride there every June. I rode in it for 12 years before leaving Indiana. Riders would mass on Sunday morning at a start point and then ride to the Hospital. The kids loved it and it always made me choke a bit. Miss that ride now.

This is the third year, and the total is over $142,000 so far. Scott says he's going to stop riding when the donations top $1,000,000 - which he hopes will be before he turns 60 (he's 52 this year).
