Default The Ugliest Trim Piece.....Replaced

For some of you with a Touring bike, the peice I replaced has got to be the cheapest trim Harley has put on a bike,. My bike is only two years old and it looked like it was on there for many years. It's thin aluminum and corrodes easily. What am I talking about? The front fender skirt

Definitely correct. The next crappiest piece on my new Tri-Glide WAS the shift linkage rod. The plain rubber foot pads leave a lot to be desired. All that said, the cheap parts give us an opportunity to make our bikes look better. Each time I add an accessory, it's like getting a new bike. That feeling lasts about 3 hours. Oh well.

On the Road King it's the screw & washer in the middle of the dash panel.

For a second I thought of the Road Glide fairing.
