Definitely correct. The next crappiest piece on my new Tri-Glide WAS the shift linkage rod. The plain rubber foot pads leave a lot to be desired. All that said, the cheap parts give us an opportunity to make our bikes look better. Each time I add an accessory, it's like getting a new bike. That feeling lasts about 3 hours. Oh well.
