Default Cover or no cover

Sadly it's coming to the end of the riding season for me and I'm about to put it away in the big shed. I plan on filling it up and adding Sta-Bil and I'm also going to pull the battery as I don't trust the battery tender. Should I cover the bike with HD cover or just thow a sheet over it or go with no cover at all?

When mine's in the garage I throw a king size cotton fitted sheet over it.Cotton lets air circulate so there's no condensation and it's gentle on the bikes paint and chrome.Cheap option, and reminds me of all the fun I had on top of the sheets....

It covers my entire Nightrain except about half of the front wheel.

Use the sheet, all the commercial covers trap moisture especially in an unheated shed or garage!

I use a cover just because it was given to me. If I didn't have it , I would just use sheets . I have to keep mine covered while not riding , lots of cats just waiting to sharpen their claws on my backrest.

Have heard the arguement that covers tend to trap moisture underneath. If you do go with one, an old car trick is to put a bar of Irish Spring soap underneath to keep the mice out. Learned the hard way. [:@]

I don't bother with a cover since the winter lay up is the perfect time to do all of those "upgrade" projects.
