Have heard the arguement that covers tend to trap moisture underneath. If you do go with one, an old car trick is to put a bar of Irish Spring soap underneath to keep the mice out. Learned the hard way. [:@]
I was wondering why I couldn't get a date when I was younger.........damn Irish Spring[:'(]

ive never 'stored' a bike for the winter. as long as its not snowing/icy, i ride (just not as often)

either way- i cover my RK whenever im not on it with an old comforter and a blanket. the comforter covers from the rear up to about the front of the tank.... then i drape the blanket over the shield/front end.

no problems.

I cover everything I've go when it's in a garage. My garage gets as cold as a tomb during the winter. I've never had any condensation problems. That could be because I have carpet down to park on. I've heard it helps block the moisture from coming up from the concrete and prevents dry rotted tires....I don't know....I just know it feels good on my knees when I'm wrenching. I've had that car 16 years, one bike 14, and the other 6. They ain't rusty.
