Mountainfest 2011 "beware"

We all know the FAA is an agency governing air transportation. Trucking, rail, mass transit, shipping, etc are also regulated.
Motorcycle riding is not currently under some special regulatory agency. All civilian road traffic falls under the NHTSA. There are no sub-agencies to monitor or manage motorcycles.
FAA = motorcycles. No comparison.

Reading some of the posts in this thread made me think of this quote:
"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent"

Clearly many of you still posting about these checkpoints were not there. I went to mountainfest...road all over that place and not a single checkpoint anywhere. Plenty of three patch clubs around and WV state police on site at the coal bucket, but the cops didn't mess with anybody. Had an awesome time...will go again.
