We all know the FAA is an agency governing air transportation. Trucking, rail, mass transit, shipping, etc are also regulated.
Motorcycle riding is not currently under some special regulatory agency. All civilian road traffic falls under the NHTSA. There are no sub-agencies to monitor or manage motorcycles.
FAA = motorcycles. No comparison.

I didnt see any check points. That was the most bikes i have ever seen in one place.Had a good time , cruised home ,no check points on the way home.A good time was had by all.

What are we afraid of? Flood them with bikes at this check point and let take the heat for this lawful action. Just a thought*

Clearly many of you still posting about these checkpoints were not there. I went to mountainfest...road all over that place and not a single checkpoint anywhere. Plenty of three patch clubs around and WV state police on site at the coal bucket, but the cops didn't mess with anybody. Had an awesome time...will go again.
