My neighbor told me yesterday that the local dealership was having a bike show today so I thought I would ride down and check it out. On my way down I thought to myself the entry fee is just $20 and goes to a good cause, hell I might as well enter. I figured that one way or another I would **** away $20 bucks so it might as well help cystic fibrosis patients. My bike is nothing special to anyone but me so I thought I didn't stand a chance in hell. I was the last one to enter, number 50. After 3 hours of waiting they called my name, first place in the stock Road King class. I think there where 3 other bikes in my class but I am still pretty proud. I got a nice plaque and $100 cash prize. Best in show went to a 47 knuckle head that was unreal, knew I didn't stand a chance for best in show. Anyway I just wanted to brag a little. Hope you all had a great day.

But what I don't get: why a class for STOCK road kings? What makes one stock road king better then another one? just curious, that's all.

 

They defined stock as factory paint and sheet metal, other than that it was wide open.
