I decided to upgrade my tensioners with the Screamin' EagleŽ Hydraulic Upgrade Kit so I order from a HD dealer selling on eBay and have the kit shipped...a week goes by and the package arrives....3 days later another package arrives from the same dealer with another kit inside.

I checked my PayPal account 3 times and I've only paid for one.


Guess they were having a 2 for 1 sale


I'm thinking about posting up one of the kits in the for sale section/

Or should I send one kit back?

What do you think you should do? What were you brought up to do? Only you know the answer.

 

I've been in a similar situation before with some ramps. I called up the seller, advised them of the situation and they had UPS pick them up. That felt much better than trying to hassle selling them or doing anything else, trying to take advantage of the situation. It's a decision I've never regretted.

Yeah, dealers can really suck, and some will try to put the screws to you, if they can. But you have to go with what you believe will help you feel good at the end of the day.

 

Personally, my honor would require me to call the seller and tell them they double shipped to me. As long as they pay for the return shipping, I'd ship it back.

If you send them back they will probably want a restocking fee.

 

There is only one right thing to do.
