trailers are damn handy . I use my horse trailer , it doubles as my tent I will warn you though that friends are going to want to be borrowing it a lot for various reason. I have a flatbed out right now and another friend is picking up my tilt in the morning . In other words...be sure you have your trailer in your possession a day or two before you need it so you can be sure it is there.

Very nice Keith. Good investment. Planning to do the same myself.

Could be used for winter storage.

Thats exactly what I had in mind. I'll be looking for a used one so I can save a few bucks.

How wide a trailer would I need to haul two bikes? And, would a GMC Envoy pull it ok?

That idea of winter storage really sounds great.

Got the chock installed, but need to pick up some eyebolts for tiedowns

I agree...but if I may suggest...dont use eye-bolts...use the flush in floor d-rings for ties downs. THey look like this:

The only problem with the winter storage thing is that i will fill it with so much junk that I will never empty it and then NO MORE TRAILER! It will just become my storage shed on wheels.

I have a 7 X 12 enclosed trailer and 2 dressors fit side by side, but tight. If you plan on hauling 2 bikes may want to consider electric brakes also. Not sure about the Envoy.

Keith, congrats on your new purchase. Looks great, now all you need is a dually to pull it. Just an idea...LOL.
