Your girlfriend put micro-scratches in your highly polished chrome. You can quite easily restore that to new condition by using the correct rouge and a high-speed metal-polishing wheel.

One little "monica Lewinski" moment later, you catch yourself smiling like an idiot and believing she really liked it. The scratches are somehow erased of your mind. Like, well, blown away or something.

 

Those pads are abrasive and will scratch.The haze you see are scratches.

 

I get boot scuffs on my pipes frequently. Next time it happens, squirt just a little bit of "Goof Off" on CHROME pipes and take off with paper towel or rag. 1 minute job, sometimes 30 seconds. Have NOT tried it on black pipes, folks...

 

Thanks for the feedback, will try and do the whole exhaust like that. dont know if i wanna withhold sex though. will be doing enough rubbing on the exhaust.
