Question Lithium-ion battery ?

I'm seriously considering one of these , anyone have yet and if so your thoughts . I fully under the pro & con thing but as my bike has gotten bigger the batteries are out classed by compression .

Over double the CCA with average life of 6 to 8 years fully charged in 15 minutes .

From my experience with RC helis, Li-Ion batteries require special charging electronics. If it's built into the battery, great. If not you will need to add it to your bike.

I believe that unless there are some in stock (warehoused) they will be hard to come by after the devastation that has happened in Japan.

Side Note: I had been known to be wrong once in awhile

I like the idea that's for sure, I would even consider an Optima battery if they made them for bikes

Adding to this....with my experience with 'lectric park flyer RC planes and lo pol batts....and how volatile they can be with heat and shock...I'm not sure I'd want one on my bike.

I wish Optima made batts for bikes....I've run them in my Jeeps and love 'em. Wicked high CCA...maintenance free.
