There is none. Many years ago the auto industry used brass for syncros in manual transmissions. They have since gone to harder materials. I think Mobil Oil is just covering their *** making a blanket statement like that. I have used both Mobil 1 75/140 and Redline Shockproof in Harleys for many years with zero problems and had great results with both. Why? Because it's good ****.
