I just went to Autozone's site and typed in St Paul Minnesota for a preferred store and then viewed their ad. It shows Valvoline, Castrol and Mobil 1 motorcycle oil is $2 off which makes Mobil 1 $7.49

Best thing about this thread is that I found out Mobil 1 20w-50 V-Twin is back on sale again. I'll buy some now for use later.

Just what I thought. We are missing some thing. Only one of you got it and most of you bragged about how smart you are by using Mobil 1. Have none of you at least looked at it? I am not recommending it as I don't use synthetic. What I understand is that the blended is for remote oil tank to the oil cavity under the engine. The fully synthetic is for under the engine only. Why? Well, I hoped you folks would know but I don't think you have the foggiest idea. I tried.

Harley has only one synthetic oil and it is made especially for The Motor Company by Venezuela's socialist dictator Hugo Chávez of Citgo Petroleum Corporation. It is called SYN3. Unlike true synthetics the base stock is created from petroleum oil by a process of cracking the molecules to resemble that of a true synthetic oil. As I recall there was a court challenge by Mobil over the labeling as synthetic but Hugo won because judges are not molecular scientists.
Hugo is not a friend of our country because we are capitalists and he is a socialist. He has referred to our president as the devil.
I sure hope this rain stops - I need to take a long ride.

Question: Does Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lube Corrode Yellow Metals? Is Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lube LS 75W-90 gear oil OK to run in Harley Transmissions? The big buzz on the internet chat rooms is that it corrodes "yellow" metals, such as brass and copper. Is this true? Please answer THIS question.-- Michael Carravetta, Janesville, WI![](http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/images/spacer.gif)
Answer: Unless the transmission specifically recommends an API GL-5 fluid for your transmission, it should not be used. GL-5 gear oils are designed for gears that require a high level of EP (Extreme Pressure) additives to protect gear teeth under extreme stress. Unfortunately, these same additives can be very aggressive toward “yellow metals “and are generally not recommended where copper, brass and bronze components are used.

You throw out the word socialist like it is communism or something. Cracks me up. Take a look at the Socialist country to our North and how their economy is ticking along and ask our fellow Canadians on the forum how much they love their country and if social is so bad? i would be surprised if you get many negative comments from them about their country ( although you might get some but you get the same here about the USA)![Icon Patriot](https://www.hdforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_patriot.gif)

I do not use synthetic oil but have been carefully reading the discussions about Harley's synthetic. Looking at the Harley parts catalog there seems to be two Screamin Eagel oils. One is Syn 3 blended synthetic. The other SE fully synthetic Syn 3 motor oil has never been discussed. Are we missing some thing here?
