Check your local hardware store, I believe they make a special tool for removing those types of screws.

If the hardware doesn't have it, look in the Yellow Pages under Fastners - Specialty. They should have the tool to remove a tamper proof screw. You may have to take them a pic of the screw head to match it.

Try McMaster-Carr.com They carry a dozen types of tamper proof fasteners and the special tools that remove them

Use your Dremel/rotory tool and grind your own slot in it and take it out with a screwdriver.

Post a pic of it and I'll see if I have it (can snail mail it to ya). In my job we run into "security" screws/hardware all the time and buy the appropriate tools...unfortunately in with the bits I need, I also end up with numerous bits I'll never use, so if I have the one you need I'd be happy to mail it off to ya.

Wolf, UltraClassic's idea works well too.

Remove the highway bars!

If you go to the general tech forums click on "other" then look for "security screws".
There are more answers that are better than mine.

I don't like one-way screws. I prefer to screw in many different ways!
