Default who likes Big Dog choppers?

I might have bought a Big Dog chopper yesterday. I consult for car dealerships and they were trying to trade for 2004 big dog ridgeback with 4700 miles on it. The bike is black and in perfect shape. I gave them a price I would take it off their hands for and they told me last night the deal was made. I will know for sure this morning if I can go pick it up. I have always wanted a second bike like a chopper just to have something a little different to ride. I looked at it and started it, it sounds real nice! I don't know much about the big dog's other than they're on the cheaper end of customs. Anyone have one or know anything about them?

Big Dogs are good choppers, well made. Many say better quality than Ironhorse, and I like my Outlaw. If the price is good, definitely go for it.

Big Dog choppers are #2 in sales behind HD. American made. I like them.

if the price is right do it. I had my eye on one down at K. Bourgets place. good price and just my style chrome/paint, etc. I knew if I went to check it out I'd ride it home. gotta wait for my finances to improve/stabilize after divorce a few years back, then I will get a BD chopper as a second bike - for sure![sm=icon_rock.gif]

Almost bought a rigid Pitbull a couple of years ago. Researched the hell of them on line, talked to some owners, etc and I would buy one of their bikes in a heartbeat.

I was seriously looking at a Big Dog about 7 years ago. Loved the look and feel. Then I started hearing all kinds of negative things about frames cracking and other not so good stuff. Stopped looking. Now I honestly don't like any of their models. They used to have the Mastiff, Husky and Pro Sport which were all badass looking. The Mastiff now looks nothing like the first one that came out. The Pitbull used to look like a standard rigid Softail with just a little rake. Now everything they have lookes live every other custom bike out there. All stretched out and raked. Just don't like 'em.
