I have two friends that have them, 1 1999 not sure what model, the other a 2004 Chopper.
Seem to be excellent bikes.
Just got back from South Padrae Island. we rode 2800 miles on that trip 450 in rain.
The one that went with us has the 2004 Chopper, had no problems at all.
He has 15000 miles on it. Its pictured in my signature.

 

I think they are great bikes if you like the long chopper look. I have heard they had trans trouble awhile back. Tim

 

I think they are gorgeous bikes. My buddy has a 2004 BD Chopper. Bought it used, saved a ton of money on it. Black w/ flames and lot's of chrome. 107" motor, 6 speed, 250 rear tire.........We swapped bikes a few times, and my only beef with it was the vibration killed my right hand. Not much to do about it though, as I believe their grips are their own unique size, so you're limited to what is available through BD? Takes a little getting used to, to turn that long hog also. Definately some good looker's though, would be fun to cruise through town on.
