Default Passing lamp bulbs

Passing lamp. or driving light bulbs, whatever you call them, are so expensive from Harley, I'm wanting to know if anyone has found a compatable bulb somewhere else that is as good but cost less? Maybe I'm just cheap, ( ok, I am cheap ) but $65.00 for 2 bulbs is ridiculous !!!
Thanks !

I bought the passing lamp bulbs for my RK at Autozone and only cost a few bucks. Just take the bulb out and take it to an auto parts store and they'll give you the correct bulb. I don't remember the part number I used.

I believe there's different ones. some are like sealed and some just use one like the headlight H4's.
Just bought two for our Heriage last fall, $14 apiece.
Here it is. Ours take a -- HD # 68453-05

I would still check out your local auto parts store for a 4" sealed beam. May need to modify the connection a little but still better than paying the HD price. I know I've seen on here other topics regarding the sealed beam type bulbs.

Are you sure they didn't quote you for the entire reflector and bulb? I just put one on last weekend after getting hit by a rock. Cost was $32.95, and I was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box and there was a bulb already installed.
