How to waterproof my leather jacket

Thanks for all of the responses guys.
Beeswax sounds kinda wierd for a supple jacket leather. Sounds perfect for boots or saddlebags. maybe I'm wrong on that.
Mink oil is definitely the tried and true method. I've used the stuff on Moccassins before but wasn't sure if it was applicable to Jackets. I'm probably going to just use some Mink oil before this weekend's trip, especially since I have it on hand, and order something more permanent for future applications. Either that Doc Baileys (sounds really familiar actually) or the Pecard stuff. Which Pecard looks like some stuff I used to have years ago, which seemed to work well....

Wonder if you can combine the treatments?
Melt some Beeswax into the stitching and use Mink Oil everywhere else?
Regardless, where would a person buy Beeswax? I've seen Mink Oil products on shelves before, but I don't remember seeing Bees Wax...
Would it be in the leather care section right next to Mink Oil? Various Brands?

I'm asking. I've never done it before, and I've been caught in a few rainstorms where the jacket seems to soak up the water, not repel it.
It's a First Gear, not that that detail matters much, that I got used several years ago, so it's probably 10 years old now.
I'm picturing something like a $20 waterproof oil or something that I rub onto the leather?

I have used the dressing that langlitz sells and have no problems ove the years.
Clean well first, apply, rub in, let dry, buff excess and it is squeaky and water repellant again.
Works for me, I do this twice a year.
