Default Harley Goof-Motor Clothes.

I was at San Diego Harley the other day with my buddy and I happen to spy a pretty sweet long sleeve T shirt. I'm a sucker for shirts with vintage Harleys.

I should have taken a pic of it and i'll probably go back just to do it.

Front of shirt had what was clearly a '49 or '50 Pan Head FL.

The script written below the pic said "Introducing the New Harley Davidson for 1940."

Doesn't Karen Davidson head up motor clothes? How do they let something so obviously incorrect slip by?

Off my soap box now...

That's funny! Maybe it was a secret prototype.

I thought HD just accepted licensing fees from makers of everything from T-shirts, to bar stools, key chains, to dog collars...I don't really think they are very particular about what is out there for sale.

You're in a very small percentage who would actually know the difference anyway.

Wouldn't want to be wearing it though around the Panhead crowd.......

This was at a dealer though, not some Indy shop or online.

The 2 Indy's on my side of town know and work on older stuff. The big dealer's service department doesn't know their *** from a hot rock..........IMHO.

My bike was there once, that was enough.
