Come on, really?
I'm sure some of you are like me and shake your head at the stupid things you observe other riders doing. Yesterday I see this guy on a nice softail, waiting for the light at an extremely busy intersection. Both hands off the bars, on his hips, right up the a$$ end of the car ahead of him. I can tell he's not paying attention to his surroundings, even combing his hair at one point. Once in while I find that I have to force myself not to ride laxed or let my guard down. The close calls I've had over the years have come when least expected and in the blink of an eye. You can never let your guard down because the odds are high you might not get a second chance. But this guy takes the cake.

If it's a long light, and there is a stopped car behind me, I don't think twice about knocking it in neutral, standing up and airing out the boys. Or checking my cell for messages. Or getting a dip of snuff. If you get hit in that situation it's going to come from so far out in left field there's no escaping it anyway.

Two days ago I see a guy on an older Honda Nighthawk. I see him coming toward me and something just looks off. Anyway as he gets closer it appears as though he has a helmet on his chest. As I pass him I see he has a child, maybe 3-4 years old sitting on the tank holding the bars. The kid is so small that thier legs are sticking straight out and can not even wrap around the tank. At least the kid has a helmet on. The rider does not. This is on a busy street full of cars at just about 1:00 PM as I and the rest of the town is heading back to work after lunch. What the h3ll are people thinking sometimes!

Dumbest thing I ever saw a biker doing was chasing after a cadillac that must have cut him off or pissed him off in one way or another. The cady was making u-turns and weaving obviously trying to get away from the guy while the biker was wildly darting back and forth almost as if he was trying to run into the guy. All that with a young child on the pillion. Idiotic.
