Question What side of your bike do you get on and off from?

I pulled up to the local watering hole tonight to and an older guy standing outside asked me if I knew what I was doing? I asked what he meant and he said your always suppose to get on and off on the kickstand side. I haven't got my MC license yet but am self taught, 3rd bike now 10 years of riding. The FLC is just more comfortable getting on and off on the right side for me. BTW, signing up for mc class Monday! Is this true?? What about you??

I usually get on and off from that side but only because its a horse habit. Horses its advisable, pretty sure the bike doesnt care though.

Since you and the bike are already leaning left, its just natural to keep on moving that direction. Plus you don't risk burning your leg on the exhaust?

Most of the time, the left.
Easier to make sure the stand is fully down and locked.

I get on and off on the right side also, just easier for me that way I guess, but I do know in the MSF course they teach you to use the left side.

Just get on or off on which side is most comfortable or safest depending on each situation.
