Default Throttle Lock Suggestions

Any ideas on a good throttle lock? I ride an 07 street glide with no cruise. I can't see spending the money to buy the cruise so I am looking for something besides the little wheel thing. Something easier to use.

IMO, a throttle lock shouldn't be "easy to use." Be careful with those things.

But, that little wheel thing locks the throttle just fine.

Cheap & works. I have it on my 06.

Cost more but I love it on my 09.

Never used this but I've heard it works well but the housing needs to be tapped.

As far as being dangerous, hogwash!

I have had a throttle lock on several bikes in the past. They are nice so that you can take your hand off the throttle for a bit, but they are not a cruise control. Since they only hold the throttle in one position you need to be on a dead flat piece of road for that to hold your speed correctly for any length of time.

The throttle lock is useless, to me. I use the rubber Kury throttle palm rest, so I can minimize hand numbness.

I spent something like $12.00 on a throttle rocker. Ues the heel of your palm to control the throttle. Doesn't look as good as the Kury grips, but a bunch cheaper.

Cheaper yet is the Klever Lever, about $6 on e-bay or $8 @ J&P Cycle.

I spent 10 bucks on a cramp buster at a local sport bike shop. Clips on the throttle in one second. Best money I have ever spent on comfort for my bike. Lets you rest your palm on the throttle on the highway and have not had my right hand fall asleep since. Worth every penny.
