Okay, my bike is finally running like a champ again. Apparantly one of the hoses inside of the tank (efi) had gotten a small hole worn in it. I dunno how, it just happened. It had started to hiccup out of the air cleaner after there was about 50 miles on the tank of gas. I asked here, what the prolem was, asn I was given 2 possible solutions. The first was the fuel feed lines, the second being the gas cap. I did the gas cap first as it was less expensive, and I thought I had it, but no. So then I did the fuel feed lines, and today is the first day I have actually been able to get a semi decent amount of mileage on it. I think there is about 130 miles on the tank, and no hiccuping, and my fuel guage is working better too. I am not under warranty anymore as my bike is an 02, but feel that the outrageous hourly rate at the stealer was worth while to have the efi stuff installed in the new tank. I was going to do it myself, but I was unclaer on how it all went back in...Oh well...There is alwyas next time. I did all the rest of the work myself...(pat on the back). My V&H sideshots have suddenly stopped popping on decel, and this thing is just slammin'. I couldn't be happier with this bike. Granted it has it's issues(cornering) I love my fatboy so much. I want to thank y'all for your help, as this is the best place I have ever found to learn about Harley's. (I know, enough *** kissin') Ride on, and be careful...
