OP, I feel really bad for you. You seem to have a really delusional definition of what a man is. Just curious. How many times have you been divorced and how long did the marriage last before they left you?

I went into an HD store to get windshield cleaner. While there I bought a new RG instead. Rode home and the first thing my wife said was ''take me for a ride''. Think I'll keep her.

 

Not sure I understand why anyone needs their Significant Other that you share finances with to TELL you that you Can or Cannot afford a toy within your current financial situation.

I'd think you should be smart enough to know yourself, or save and wait until you can and/or find the Toy that fits within your wants and your budget without needing anyone to tell you so. And yet at the same time discussing this plan with the person you share your financial and personal life with so that they understand it, not approve it..

 

I didn't ask, i said, you won't beleive what some idiot traded in at work.. the mrs said "You work hard for your money, go for it" .. she knew when we got married 23 yrs ago that i was a motor head and she would be gone before my 67 would be.. we always joked about my uncles saying my 67 would be gone in 6 months.. welp, 23 yrs later still got'em both..

 

When I was married we discussed what I was going to buy. I don't and still don't ask for permission. I don't ask for permission from anyone when it comes to my money and how I wish to spend it. I have heard men make that same lame pussified excuse of "my wife wouldn't let me". Bunch of neutered sheep. I find that attitude disgusting.
