Default Differences? Wiley X SG-1 and XL-1

I'm looking at purchasing one of these, the two products appear almost identical save for the elastic strap and nose piece on the SG-1. Does anyone have experience with both that can offer an opinion?

Thanks

that was helpful.

My wife and I each have SG-1's and they are pretty good motorccle goggles with the elastic strap, but the ear pieces are not too hot, if you don't want to use the strap. From what I read online, the XL-1' also come with a strap - I can't figure out the difference, except the XL-1's may be a little cheaper. However, because they are military issue, you can get plenty of SG-1's, lenses, etc., on Ebay cheap. That's where I got both of our sets.

I don't really care for them unless it's pretty cold and I want to seal out the cold air around my eyes - otherwise I just wear Wiley X Romers (likewise, took my Romers to Afghanistan, as in the avatar pic, rather than wear issued ESS and Revision). My wife wears contacts and always needs and air seal, so she always wears SG-1's.

I've got the SG-1's (military issue). As glasses, they suck, but with the goggle strap they are fine for riding.

I didnt go with those 2 you listed, but I bought the airrage and they are great. They keep the dust/air off my eye's, they came with a strap and band and the foam comes off so I can rock them as sunglasses too. Only $87+shipping.
